CONSECH20 (“CONSErvation of 20th century concrete Cultural Heritage in urban changing environments”) is an European Project supported by the JPI CH Heritage in Changing Environments programme which will run from 2019 to 2021.
CONSECH20 aims at developing innovative approaches for the conservation and protection of 20th cent. heritage of buildings in concrete against the ever-changing urban impacts, taking into account both technical and social aspects. The 20th cent. Heritage of buildings in concrete is a major challenge for conservation, both because of its remarkable architectural variety and experimental character in use of materials and technologies as well as due to the lack of recognition of its cultural and historical value by the wide public. These aspects, together with the fast-changing urban environment, are leading causes of its deterioration and, sometimes, demolition.

CONSECH20 (“CONSErvation of 20th century concrete Cultural Heritage in urban changing environment”) è un progetto europeo sostenuto dal programma JPI CH Heritage in Changing Environments che si svolgerà dal 2019 al 2021.
CONSECH20 mira a sviluppare approcci innovativi per la conservazione e la protezione del XX sec. patrimonio di edifici in calcestruzzo contro gli impatti urbani in continua evoluzione, tenendo conto degli aspetti sia tecnici che sociali. Il XX sec. Il patrimonio di edifici in calcestruzzo è una grande sfida per la conservazione, sia per la sua notevole varietà architettonica e per il carattere sperimentale nell'uso di materiali e tecnologie, sia per il mancato riconoscimento del suo valore storico e culturale da parte del vasto pubblico. Questi aspetti, insieme al contesto urbano in rapida evoluzione, sono le principali cause del suo deterioramento e, a volte, demolizione.
